The Galaxy Note 8 only comes with a single SIM slot in the US, while the international version of the device allows you to use two SIM cards at the same time. The good news is that you don’t have to import one to get your hands on it, as the smartphone is now available stateside.
The device hasn’t officially been released by Samsung in the US, but you can still get it on eBay. Sold by a top-rated seller, it can be yours for $864.99. Although that’s a lot of money, it’s still less than what you would pay for the US model, which starts at $929 unlocked. It’s available in limited quantities and comes in gold or gray.
In addition to having dual-SIM capabilities, the handset is also powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 8895 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 835 found in the US model. Other than that, it’s the same Galaxy Note 8.
As a refresher, it sports a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED QHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The phablet comes with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage you can expand via a microSD card (up to 256 GB). It’s also equipped with the popular S Pen, is resistant to dust and water thanks to its IP68 rating, and packs a 3,300 mAh battery. Check out our Samsung Galaxy Note 8 review to learn more about it.
