In order to make its presence in San Francisco, the huge tech hub, Facebook has signed one of the “largest office lease in the past three years” inside the spinning needle-topped 181 Fremont luxury tower, the San Francisco Business Times reported.
The Fremont luxury tower is about 436,000 square feet and 802-foot tall office where the rent is about $80 per square foot. The building is home to a $42 million penthouse already.
Facebook’s new office pad in San Francisco is one of the most luxurious offices in the town with 70 stories and is right next to the popular Salesforce Tower. It is oft considered an engineering and architecture masterpiece owing to its aluminum-based twists around the building for added support. The whole tower has a criss-cross pattern around it, which not only gives it a realistic look but also makes it earthquake-resistant.

While Facebook probably won’t be shifting its HQ anytime soon but it is expected that they will start moving some of their employees to the new building.
